Information used in the workflow
The journal workspace stores your account identifier, email, name, securely hashed password, and sign-in sessions. It stores profile details, author information, manuscript metadata and uploaded files, review assignments, reports, and editorial decisions to operate the journal workflow.
Access to manuscripts
Authors can access their own submissions. Authorized editors can manage submissions. Assigned reviewers can access manuscripts after accepting an invitation; reviewer identities and confidential comments are withheld from authors. Published article metadata and the publication PDF are accessible to readers.
Storage and service providers
The site runs on Oracle Cloud infrastructure in Tokyo. Structured records and private manuscript files are stored on the journal server. The actual publication location of the journal is separate from the physical location of its infrastructure.
Cookies and your choices
Authentication uses a necessary, secure, HTTP-only session cookie. The journal does not include advertising or analytics scripts. Typography is requested from Google Fonts, which may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address.
Retention and rights
The publisher must specify lawful bases, retention periods, service-provider arrangements, and the procedure for access, correction, deletion, and complaints before collecting formal submissions. Please contact the editorial office once announced. Do not upload sensitive personal or participant data to the prelaunch workspace.
